DESCRIPTION
    Being the son of “The Ultimate Life Form”, Spear has been thought of as “second-rate” to his father. Because of this, Spear’s father put him into intense training on his chaos energy starting from a young age. It took years for the young hedgehog to finally improve his shared power. But even then, he hadn’t reached insight of his power, if not full control. What was originally thought to be endless mental torture became a task for Spear to learn more about his inherited power. Spear is known to be socially withdrawn and straightforward at times. Still, he has a kind and encouraging demeanor with a hint of anxiety. He will not hesitate to go and help those in greater need.

RELATIONSHIP(S):
Spear is tense with Shadow, even though he knows the old man meant well. There may be times when father and son would correspond, but they’re not enough to keep the young hedgehog from being anxious around his dad. On the other hand, Spear has a strong relationship with his separated mother; there are times where he would travel to Spagonia just to spend time with her.

Dash is a good friend of Spear’s since they were kids. Their friendship started when the navy blue hedgehog protected him from some bullies. Even when they’re physically distant, Spear would try to make time to catch up with his equal.

Spear is also friends with Dash’s sister May. However, he is completely oblivious to the red-violet hedgehog’s infatuation towards him.

Although Cocoa was a toddler when he met her, Spear still considers the rabbit to be a close friend of his.

Much like their parents were in the past, Amethyst and Spear are the best of friends. This goes to the point where he deems the bachidna as an older sister, even during his time away from home.

During their first meeting, Spear was nervous with Ken due to the latter’s intimidating nature. This changed when he got to better know the vampire bat.

Spear felt a sudden connection with Melanie since their initial encounter, as they both have past issues with those who were close to one another. He’s especially protective of the fox (not unnecessarily, of course).

Unlike Ken, Lux was the easiest one for Spear to befriend. The cobra’s attitude is very enlightening to the black hedgehog, enough for the latter to come to him for life advice (much to their teammates’ amusement).

Smolder is Spear’s archenemy. Despite this, Spear couldn’t help but feel a bit of sympathy for the wolf… even though he knew he’s not supposed to.
